Review Policy

**Note:  If I've received a book for review & not reviewed it yet, I'm sorry.  Life has become difficult in the last several months and things are moving rather slowly.  I'm working at trying to balance life and reading at the same time.  It will take time, but I'll get to the books.  If you would like your book returned, please send me an email with an address and I'll return it for you to send to another reviewer.  I know reviews are important with selling books.  I completely understand.

My shelves are stacked up and I need to get caught up.  But feel free to contact me. Life has become rather busy with family and work. My reading time has become limited. If I can slip you in, I'll try.

I'll review audiobooks, podcasts, and print books.

I work with both publicists, authors, and narrators alike.  No preference.

The genre I review here on My words and pages is Fantasy.  Fantasy is rather broad.  So a few of the categories I touch on:

  • Urban Fantasy
  • Fantasy
  • Dystopian

And just a few books in:

  • Science Fiction
  • Paranormal

I also review YA books in these genre as well.

I try to get through books as fast as I can, but I am only one person who works and has a family as well.  I will try my best to get through the books timely.  I try to read books at a time that I will get the best feel from the book, meaning if I'm worn out and drained I might pick up a different book so I get the best happy feel from your book when I do read it.

I will take the books I receive for consideration to review the book in a kind honest review.  If for any reason I can't finish the book, or not find favorable, I will respond to you and let you know I will not be posting a review.  If I can find another reviewer who fits the book, I will pass it on.

I post my reviews in numerous places (if book available on the site):
Amazon, Powell's Books, Barnes & Nobles, Goodreads, LibraryThing, Kobo, iTunes, and BookLikes. If I'm reviewing an audio book, I'll also post on Audible (as long as I have the audio book in my Audible library).

I link to my blog post through: Facebook and Twitter.

Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to meeting you,
