Throwback Thursday (156)

I found this picture of Trinity College Library, and thought it would work for this meme with a little play with lighting and adding the words.

Let's talk about those books already on the shelves, yours or the stores.

I have a post for books I'm looking forward to coming out;
Looking Forward To...
But what about all those wonderful books that are ALREADY on the shelves.

Whether it be on your shelf waiting to be read or on the shelves in the stores waiting for you to give it a good home.

So, I thought I would share a book a week that is just waiting for me to travel through it's world.

Now... where do I start? Lets go by Published Date on the books...

This Week:

I was trying to remember where I picked this one up at. I believe it was a free read I downloaded on the synopsis. It caught my attention, now to find time to read it. *sigh*

Goodreads Synopsis:
Ava Delaney calls herself a hybrid - a living, breathing human who happens to have vampire poison running through her veins. The only thing greater than her thirst for human blood is her capacity for guilt. She does her best to avoid the human world, for everyone's sake.

When Ava accidentally enslaves a human while saving him from a vampire, she realises she has to look for help setting him free. Despite her misgivings, she expands her world but finds herself dragged into a possible vampire civil war. With the help of some new friends with ambiguous loyalties, she tries to find a way to keep her human, and herself, alive.

I've heard back from a few bloggers that they would like to join in this meme post, so I'm adding a Linky for you to join in.  Grab the picture above, and join in.  All I ask, is if you can acknowledge my blog in the post so others know where to come back to.

  1. I have a feeling I have seen this before because the cover looks familiar, however, the blurb does not, but it seems like a great read. Thanks for sharing this, Melissa!

    1. Franny, hmm. Maybe another book with a very similar cover? These days there are lots of books with the same images. :) Thank you!

  2. I think I downloaded this book at some point during my 'It's free, grab it!' phase! I don't think I kept it during my 'Kobo Cull' recently.
